Footage from January 15th 2014 of an F-15E Strike Eagle on take off from RAF Lakenheath, UK. The footage shows a dramatic AB blowout at normal speed, 30% original and 5% original.
The event itself only lasts around 0.2 seconds, the pilots reaction is fast and decisive.

A little fun at the end of runway 24 at RAF Lakenheath. The variable intake movement is interesting on the last jet.
Shot on 25th April 2013 on a Sony HDR-SR11, edited and stabilised in FCP X.
My brother and I spent a day at RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk, England, on January 10th 2012. Another awesome day which began with a mass launch of F15C Eagles from the 493rd Fighter Squadron.
Unfortunately I had some audio related issues for the first hour of the day, due mostly to excitement, but rather than bin the footage I thought I’d do something more fun with it.
I know it’s wrong but it’s also oh so right! 🙂 I hope you enjoy.
14th December 2011 was a very busy day at RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk, UK. In addition to the 60 or so F-15 movements we also had a Danish AF CL-604, two USAF HH-60s and a USAF KC-135.
Although my brother and I have been visiting Lakenheath for around 20 years this is the first time with my new video camera, a Sony HDR-SR11E so please forgive some of the shaky camera work and the few audio issues. These will be fixed next time!
All footage was shot with the HDR-SR11 and edited with Final Cut X.
