One of the highlights of the show for me, these Armée De L’air pilots really put on a fantastic display in their Mirage 2000Ns
During the fast pas these jets were close to the speed of sound and creating some stunning shock waves. Check out the sound as they reach us – BOOF!
This practice display was shot from the eastern end of the runway on the Thursday 7th July and pretty much wrapped up day 2 for us.

After dropping off the F-16s and Soloturk for the 2016 show, this Turkish Air Force KC-135 headed back to work.

Day 2 of RIAT 2016 and the RAF fast jet contingent arrived en masse. Three Typhoons and a single Tornado GR4.
The special scheme Typhoon (ZK315) is the 41(R) Test and Evaluation Squadron centenary jet.

Ramex Delta did some orientation work around the field before running into break as a three ship. I shot some lovely footage of these guys later in the day on their practice display – coming later this week I expect.
