RIAT 2017 arrivals F-16, MC-130, Typhoons and Chinook

More arrivals from RIAT 2017. I’ve been editing these and uploading them in order of their arrival to the show.
This video was shot on Thursday 13th July 2017.
In order of appearance:

Belgian Air Force F-16AM 1st squadron centenary special scheme
USAF MC-130J from the 67th SOS based at RAF Mildenhall
Luftwaffe Eurofighter Typhoon
RAF Eurofighter Typhoon
RAF CH-47 Chinook

The reason I didn’t make it to the Wednesday arrivals for RIAT 2017 was that I was shooting the 1st squadron jets low level in Wales, which you can see here – https://youtu.be/jb1FN_26vpI

Belgian Air Force F-16 display – RIAT 2016 Day 3

After the practice display from the 2nd day of RIAT 2016 here is the full display from the Friday of RIAT 2016. Rather than shooting from the FRIAT Grandstand this was shot from the crowd line and I think is more dramatic. Enjoy!

RIAT 2016 Arrivals Day 1 – Scorpion and Polish F-16s

Continuing the thread of RIAT 2016 and the first day of arrivals, here are the Textron Airland Scorpion and Polish F-16s arriving for the International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford.

Like a few other operators of the F-16, the Polish Air Force opted to equip there jets with the humpback conformal fuel tanks, giving the F-16 nearly 44% more fuel and obvious range improvements. It doesn’t do much for the lines of the jet for me though!

You’ve got to love the nozzle actuator noise on the F-16 as well. The exhaust nozzle control mechanism on the F100 is powered by bleed air from the engine and creates that distinctive F100 nozzle noise. You’ll hear the same sound on my F-15 videos as well.
