It was all a bit stealthy at RIAT 2016 and this was a really unique fly-by from the F-22 and F-35.
I do love the F-22 display, and it’s pretty hard to film at time, especially with the vertical manoeuvres!

This was a simply stunning display from the F-22 Raptor Demonstration Team from Langley Air Force Base and the 1st Fighter Wing at RIAT 2016.
It was another one of those displays that it was difficult to keep track of in the view finder, but the F-22 surely has to be THE fighter to beat in 21st century air combat scenario. For me nothing comes close.

I was lucky enough to spend the day with the 48th Fighter Wing at RAF Lakenheath back in April 2016. It was a huge privilege to get up close and personal with these front line aircraft and their crew.
I’ve decided to split the morning launches into the three different aircraft types we saw flying on the day. These are the F-22 Raptors from 95th Fighter Squadron, the Boneheads.
